Dr. Mary A. Ogunsanya, MD, FAAP

Dr. Mary A. Ogunsanya, affectionately known by her patients and families as “Dr. O,” is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified pediatrician with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents. As the founder and lead physician of Maryland Children Health Center, she has built a practice centered on delivering comprehensive, family-focused healthcare in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Dr. Ogunsanya is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and has extensive experience in both outpatient and hospital-based pediatric care. She is passionate about preventive medicine, early childhood development, and ensuring that every child receives the guidance and care needed to grow into a healthy adult. She takes pride in building lasting relationships with families and empowering parents with the knowledge and tools to support their child’s well-being.

As a devoted wife and mother of four, Dr. Ogunsanya understands firsthand the joys, challenges, and responsibilities that come with raising a family. Her personal experience as a mother complements her medical expertise and allows her to connect with parents from a place of genuine understanding and compassion. She recognizes that every child and family is unique and strives to provide thoughtful, individualized care that supports the needs of the whole family.

Outside of the office, Dr. Ogunsanya enjoys mentoring future healthcare professionals and cherishes time with her husband and four children.
