Dr. Mary A. Ogunsanya, MD, FAAP

Dr. Mary A. Ogunsanya, affectionately known by her patients and families as “Dr. O,” is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified pediatrician with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents. As the founder and lead physician of Maryland Children Health Center, she has built a practice centered on delivering comprehensive, family-focused healthcare in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Dr. Ogunsanya is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and has extensive experience in both outpatient and hospital-based pediatric care. She is passionate about preventive medicine, early childhood development, and ensuring that every child receives the guidance and care needed to grow into a healthy adult. She takes pride in building lasting relationships with families and empowering parents with the knowledge and tools to support their child’s well-being.

Known for her warm, approachable nature, Dr. Ogunsanya strives to make every visit a positive experience. She is especially committed to serving diverse communities and addressing healthcare disparities by providing accessible, culturally sensitive care.

Dr. Ogunsanya is actively involved in community health initiatives both within the United States and internationally. She participates in yearly medical mission trips to Nigeria, where she provides care to underserved communities and contributes to improving access to pediatric healthcare.
